
TexShare Card Program
The TexShare Card is a statewide library card that allows eligible patrons to borrow books and other physical materials from more than 500 participating public and academic libraries throughout Texas—at no additional cost.
Who Is Eligible?
Austin Memorial Library can issue a TexShare Card to patrons who:
- Reside within the City of Cleveland
- Have maintained an Austin Memorial Library account for at least six months
- Have an account in good standing
- Owe no fines or fees to the library
How to Apply
To apply for a TexShare Card, visit the Austin Memorial Library circulation desk and present:
- Your current Austin Memorial Library card
- A valid photo ID
Once issued, you may present your TexShare Card at any participating library to request borrowing privileges.
Using Your TexShare Card
Each participating library establishes its own lending policies. TexShare Card users are responsible for following the rules, loan periods, borrowing limits, and return procedures of the library from which materials are borrowed.
